Sonam Kapoor celebrates Republic Day at Neerja Bhanot's school

: Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor is out and about the city to promote her upcoming film ‘Neerja’.

Sonam will be seen playing brave heart Neerja Bhanot, a Pan Am flight attendant who sacrificed her life trying to save passengers when Pan Am Flight 73 was hijacked on September 5 1986.

The actress today visited Neerja’s school, Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai to celebrate the Republic Day. The actress also interacted with the students.

Neerja Bhanot was a flight attendant for Pan Am, based in Mumbai, India, who was murdered while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on September 5, 1986.
