Salman Khan’s “rape” controversy refuses to die down. Reacting to the Sultan actor’s recent “rape” gaffe at a media event, actor Aamir Khan said, “I wasn’t present at the time he made this comment. And whatever I know is through the media. I think the comment was rather unfortunate and insensitive.”
Aamir was at the launch of his film Dangal’s poster, when he was asked about his thoughts on Salman’s statement, where he compared his physically drained self after the gruelling Sultan schedule, to that of a raped woman.
When further prodded and asked if he had any word of advice for Salman on matters of social or public behaviour, a confused Aamir responded, “Who am I to give advice ” He didn’t entertain the questions any further.
Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Suniel Shetty and Kangana Ranaut also reacted to Salman’s statement. Most of the Bollywood brigade, however, preferred to say little about the episode.
