After garnering much critical acclaim for her role in Sarbjit, Richa Chadda is already looking forward to her next adventurous venture, Cabaret. But it is not just in her films that actress Richa likes to try new things. The actress will soon be speaking on the topic of Women in Bollywood at the upcoming Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, which is scheduled to kick-start in August and is endorsed by Vidya Balan.
A source close to the actress reveals, “Richa will throw light on various things including the increasing change in women’s roles in both mainstream and indie films. She will also focus on breaking away from the clichés when it comes to roles offered to women in the industry and also the need for sensitising representation of women in Indian films at large.”
When contacted, Richa said, “It feels great to be invited to speak on behalf of Indian cinema. I am very excited about meeting people there and am totally looking forward to discussing cinema at such a platform.”
