Prabhu Deva’s next film on hold

When in 2014, producer Gordhan Tanwani and Prabhudeva came together for Action Jackson, they had a deal. That the latter would direct two films for Tanwani under Baba Films banner. We now hear that the poor performance of Action Jackson at the box office and the subsequent losses, have delayed work on the second film.

When contacted, Gordhan clarified, “Yes, I had signed a two-film deal with Prabhudeva. Just because Action Jackson didn’t work, doesn’t mean that he is a bad director. I will make my second film with Prabhudeva and will announce it soon.”

When asked about the financial woes he adds, “I have no financial issues with the film, I am just waiting for the right script.”

Will it feature actors from Action Jackson “I am not sure whether the second film will also have Ajay Devgn and Manasvi Mamgai in the leads, ” he adds. When we contacted Manasvi, the actress refused to comment.
