Not getting married for a year at least: Preity Zinta

Earlier this week, there were reports that Preity Zinta is all set to tie the knot with her American boyfriend Gene Goodenough in January next year. It was believed that she will be flying to the US and it will be a small and intimate ceremony. Putting all that wedding talk to rest, the actress rubbished the reports of her wedding on social media. “Grrrrrrrrr ! I don’t want to hear this word or have this discussion for another year at least ... Plssssss! Also, it’s getting a bit weird telling people that I’m not getting married in January. I promise I will tell you all as soon as and when I do. Ting!” (sic) she tweeted.

Gene is an LA-based 30-something working as a financial analyst. As per reports, Preity and Gene met on one of Zinta’s trips to the US a few years ago and it was Gene who stood by Preity throughout her fight with former lover Ness Wadia.
