: In the year 2012, Karan Johar launched three new actors with ‘Student of the Year’ and now, the filmmaker is gearing up for its sequel which will have Tiger has the leading actor.

Earlier we told you how Tiger was quite surprised when KJo called him in for a screen test and how the actor aced it nonetheless. After a lot of speculations, the actor himself has confirmed the reports.

"Yes, we are in talks. Karan sir and I met a couple of times to discuss the film. He has given me a brief idea about the film. I will take the narration and sign the film mostly," DNA quoted Tiger Shroff.

The rest of the cast will be finalised soon. Karan, who is currently helming ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, has on several occasions expressed his wish to make a sequel of SOTY. He has said that he wants to spin off a franchise from the 2012 super-hit, which had marked the debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra.
