Farah Khan choreographs for Jackie Chan

Even though she has visited Jodhpur several times in the past, this visit has been a special one for choreographer Farah Khan. This time she was in the city as part of Jackie Chan’s film Kung Fu Yoga. She has been roped in to choreograph a special Bollywood number in the film, which will be shot partially in Jodhpur and later in Beijing.

Farah’s entry into the project was all thanks to Sonu Sood who is part of the film’s cast. It was he who convinced Jackie to do a song, explaining to him how much Indians love music in their films. Reportedly, Jackie will also be crooning the song in English and Hindi.

Farah posted a picture with Jackie on Twitter and wrote, “The King of action CAN dance n how!! Changing his name 2 Jackie Jackson!! #kungfu yoga”

Before commencing the journey, she had posted a snap with Geeta Kapoor, saying, “En route Jodhpur wit@geetakapur to make Jackie Chan dance!! Thank u @SonuSood for chartering the whole flight 4 us!”

Kung Fu Yoga is a part of the three-film agreement that was signed between India and China during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India last year. The multi-lingual film recently wrapped up their international schedules in China and Dubai.
