You heard it here first — Salman and Deepika may come together for a film, finally. After a couple of false starts (Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Kick), the two may come together for Abbas Zafar’s Sultan.

Deepika had earlier cited dates issues, but recently confessed that she wasn’t impressed with the roles she was offered previously. But the latest offer seems to have caught the actress’ fancy.

Dismissing rumours of there being two leading ladies in the film, a source close to the project said, “There is only one heroine in Sultan and it’s a very spirited and sassy character. Deepika is most likely to play the role.”
