Airline’s VIP treatment to Madhuri Dixit upsets Wendell Rodricks

Wendell Rodricks wasn’t a happy customer on Saturday. The fashion designer took to Twitter to vent about an unpleasant experience he had at the airport, involving preferential treatment to a star — Madhuri Dixit. Wendell was in the same flight as Madhuri on a Mumbai-bound Indigo flight and was subject to non-preferential treatment at the hands of the airline staff — something that didn’t go down too well.
Apparently, the actress was whisked off in a bus with only four other people when the flight landed in Mumbai from Goa, while the rest of the passengers were left waiting under the sun for another bus to come and fetch them. Interestingly, this was the same group that earlier jumped the boarding queue and was seen being escorted on a separate bus during departure. At that time, Wendell merely assumed that the group was flying off on a private jet and they were not his fellow co-passengers.
After reading his tweet, the airline’s official Twitter handle reached out to him, asking about his flight’s details. In return, Wendell asked the airlines to check their passenger list.
The designer, however, had taken down his post by Sunday morning.
