Filmmaker Aanand L. Rai’s 45th birthday was a night to remember. The star-studded affair saw most of the biggies of tinsel town turn up to be part of the celebrations. The lavish bash that was held at a premium restaurant in Mumbai had footfalls from Shah Rukh Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Sidharth Malhotra, and many more. Writer of his films Himanshu Sharma was also spotted along with Swara Bhaskar. Among others were Kartik Aaryan, Huma Qureshi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Diana Penty, Rajkummar Rao, Hansal Mehta, Shoojit Sircar and Sudhir Mishra.

A source reveals, “It was an intimate affair and everyone was seen mingling freely. The birthday boy cut a cake while light music played in the background. There was no dancing involved. Kangana Ranaut was there till around 11 in the night and even Shah Rukh was hanging around till the wee hours.”
