The Princess Constellation $337,000: These diamond-studded stilettos by the English House of Borgezie are called the Princess Constellation, inspired by Paul Simon hit. True to its name, the pair is adorned with pure gold and features more than 2,200 diamonds. Designer Christopher Michael Shellis has also encrusted a total gem weight of 65.50 carats along with red rubber padding at the soles and heel tips that can be removed and replaced. According to the designer, it took him over two months to set the diamonds into the solid 18K gold and that the diamonds are set in the structure of the stiletto. Now the proud owner of these bling stilettos is singer Beyoncé.

Debbie Wingham Stilettos — $15.1 million: A birthday gift commissioned by an unnamed family, British designer Debbie Wingham created the most expensive high heels in the history with large chunk of diamonds. The shoes feature a rare large pink diamond and blue diamonds costing $13million, adding to the design are four three-carat white diamonds and 1000 pointer diamonds framing an iced cake-like picture. Not only this, the zippers and plaque beneath are made from solid gold. Topping the expense, each precious stone is set using platinum. The exorbitant elements don’t end here. The handmade stilettos are put together on leather painted with 24-carat gold paint and sewed with 18 carat gold thread. Each one is adorned with Arabian Jasmin flowers, also made from leather. The inside of the pair includes gold thread embellished inlay.

Stuart Weitzman ‘Diamond Dream’ Stiletto — $500,000: The world famous shoe designer and brand Stuart Weitzman in collaboration with diamond jewellery designer Kwiat created yet another most expensive stiletto. Featuring 1,420 30-carat brilliant-cut diamonds, the designer called them to be ‘fit for a queen’. Called aptly the Diamond Dream, the pair has two delicate circle-bands around the ankles along with an elegant toe strap coated in silver leather. The beauty made its debut on the red carpet at the 2007 Academy Awards by Anika Noni Rose.

The Ruby Slippers —$3.01 Million: These tinkling red shoes are a replica of Dorothy’s from The Wizard of Oz that was released on the fifty anniversary of the movie. Originally made by designer Gilbert Adrain, five pairs were produced for the movie using red sequences. to recreate it, jeweller Harry Winston used 4,60 pieces of rubies and 50 carats of diamonds making it worth around $3.01 million. After about 60 days of creating it, these were unveiled at the House of the Harry Winston. Only one woman, actress-singer Judy Garland, who played the original Dorothy, has worn the slippers.

Rita Hayworth Heels — $3 million: For the famous shoe designer Stuart Weitzman, actress Rita Hayworth served as an inspiration towards the creation of the Rita Hayworth Heels in the most unusual colour. Said to be unlike his other craetions, the designer chose chocolate brown colour, the inspiration behind this was Rita’s earring. The satin open toe high-heel exhibits a satin flower on each shoe that holds an earring in diamonds, sapphires and rubies belonging to Rita Hayworth. Actress and singer-songwriter Kathleen York wore them to the 2006 Academy Awards. Now the pair belongs to Hayworth’s daughter, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan.
