Designed by jewellery designer Ginza Tanaka, in Shinsaibasi, Osaka, Japan, this tree was enhanced with 240 rare and priceless gems. Valued at $1.6 million, it was decorated with 24 carat gold and further enhanced with pearls and diamonds that were of a total weight of 46 pounds.
Takashimaya Department Store — Preserved Rose Mini Christmas tree
This tree is perfect for the saying ‘big surprises come in small packages.’ Decorated with flowers, the tree is made expensive, thanks to the 400 precious diamonds that shine on it. The value of this Christmas tree was estimated to be $1.8 million.
The Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi
A seven-star hotel in Abu Dhabi, the Emirates Palace hotel, houses the most expensive tree in the world. Valued at more $11 million, the 13-metre fake evergreen tree is located in the hotel’s lobby. Decorated with silver and gold bows, ball-shaped ornaments and small white lights, the tree is adorned with necklaces, earrings and other jewellery draped over its branches.

At around 90 feet, this is one of the tallest X’mas trees. Installed as part of the Hong Kong Winterfest, this conifer is adorned with 40,000 Swarovski crystals. An outdoor LED tree, this tree is a treat to the eyes. The exact value of this precious tree is unknown.
