The popular racing game from Electronic Arts will bring back the original car customisation and underground street racing.

How can a game look as good as this? It is surreal!

If you spent most of your childhood in the last decade, the “Need For Speed” name tag would have been synonymous with your exciting life. To computer gamers, it represented the world where the liberty to do outrun the rules of the realistic world and go mad with car customisation. In the past few years, the game lost most of its original identity, with the 2015 reboot version trying to reclaim the lost glory. However, there is a new Need For Speed in works and it promises to dazzle you with its original charm.

Developer Ghost Games has conveyed the reveal of a new Need For Speed (NFS) game today with the charm of the line-up’s old titles like 2004 NFS Underground 2 and 2005 NFS Most Wanted. The teaser shows a heavily customised Nissan Skyline GT-R doing a burnout against the sunshine. Yes, the 2017 Need For Speed will be featuring daylight based driving, a major departure from the night time racing of 2015 Need For Speed. The game will also feature an offline racing mode along with a deep customising ability that aims to give its players the sense of liberty, like existing open-world games like Forza Horizon 3 and The Crew.

The game is bound to have the most realistic graphics, just like all the new NFS games from the past. The game will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. We could also see versions of the game for PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio as well. Stay tuned for further updates regarding the 2017 Need For Speed.
