Veteran journalist Dilip Padgaonkar passes away at 72
He worked with the UNESCO from 1978 to 1986, and was also one of the interlocutors to Kashmir appointed by the UPA government.

Mumbai: Veteran journalist and former editor of Times of India, Dilip Padgaonkar, breathed his last on Friday morning at a Pune hospital following renal failure. He was 72-years-old.
Padgaonkar was admitted to the Ruby hospital, Pune, on November 18.
He started his career with the Times of India as its Paris correspondent, and went on to become the editor of the publication.
He worked with the UNESCO from 1978 to 1986, and was also one of the interlocutors to Kashmir appointed by the UPA government.
