Sweet Corn Chaat with Peanuts Recipe
Bread Pakora Recipe
Ingredients
- Bread slices 4-5
- Gram flour (Besan) 1 cup
- Turmeric powder 1/4th tsp
- Salt to taste
- Ajwain 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder to taste
- Garam Masala powder 1/4th tsp
- Water for batter
- Oil for frying
Method
- Cut bread slices into desired shapes (like triangle, rectangle etc.)
- In a bowl, add gram flour salt, chilli powder, garam masala, ajwain. Mix well.
- Now, by pouring little water at a time, make a smooth batter (neither too thick nor too lose.)
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Dip bread pieces in the batter. Fry, on medium flame, until crisp.Serve bread pakoras hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
Chatpata Tortilla Recipe
Ingredients
- A handful of tortilla chips
- Aloo bhujiya 2-3 tbsp
- Corn 4-5 tbsp
- Simla mirch (chopped) 3-4 tbsp
- Tomatoes (chopped) 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli flakes to taste
- Mustard powder to taste
- Mayonnaise (egg or egg less) 2-3 tsp
- Onions (chopped) 2 tsp
- Method
- Mix tortilla chips, aloo bhujiya and corn in a bowl. Now, add simla mirch and tomatoes. Mix well. Sprinkle salt, chilli flakes, mustard powder and mayonnaise, whisk well. Squeeze lime juice over it just before serving. Serve immediately
