The story of the dubious case of Bihar board toppers is turning out to be more twisted with every passing day. With one of the toppers confessing that she was shocked to see that she had topped, the police revealed that in another topper’s case the evaluator had awarded 51 marks out of 50. It is clear that this incident has the makings of a scam. This is a blot on our education system, more so because so many students from Bihar go to other cities and sit for exams to enter premium institutions.
