The Bahujan Samaj Party has ruled out the possibility of any alliance with the BJP after the 2017 assembly elections. The party took pains to clarify that it would not enter into a post poll alliance with the BJP at any cost.

BSP leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui told reporters that the Samajwadi Party was trying to mislead Muslims to help the BJP.

“There is no truth in the allegations levelled by SP that BSP and BJP can come together to form the next government. The SP is trying to mislead the Muslim voters, who are disenchanted with them and coming to us in large numbers”, he said.

Mr Siddiqui said that SP and BJP were hand-in-glove and were protecting each other’s interests.

He further said that Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav’s birth in politics was due to the RSS and the BJP, and that the SP leader had a secret understanding with the both organisations.

Replying to a question, the BSP leader said that though his party had formed government with BJP’s support thrice in UP, it had never implemented the ideology of RSS or BJP.
