Have the month long festivities taken a toll on your skin Don’t fret as here’s an easy way to revive your skin, naturally. Consider these tips as part of your post-festival skin and hair care ritual...

Hair care: To begin with, you must recognise the three major enemies which make your hair brittle and lusterless – dirt, sunshine and stress. One of the easiest ways to combat these are by sticking to a regular hair care regime. That said, the use of shampoo and conditioner is not enough. For regaining the lost health of the hair, it is important to treat yourself to regular homemade packs. Considering that the festival season has just gone by, it is best to steer clear of salon hair treatments. Opt for effective home remedies like hot olive oil and coconut oil hair massage. If your hair is coarse and dry, use tea leaves and honey for that added nourishment. Do not forget to steam your hair post a hot oil hair massage, as it is only through steaming that oil penetration into the roots is possible.

Nail Tips: When you use a moisturiser, rub some into your cuticles and nails as well. Acrylic nails can sometimes lead to breakage or even infection. So, ensure you trim them on time and treat them to a regular massage. Apply a tough coating of varnish. Using nail hardener is also another option to protect your nails.
