Antonio Banderas has revealed that he had suffered a heart attack earlier this year, that required a surgery as well.

TMZ.com reports that while speaking to Spanish media in Spain over the weekend, Antonio said that he had suffered a heart attack on January 26, and had to have three stents surgically implanted in Switzerland.

However, the Desperado star did say that he was doing much better now, that “it wasn’t serious and hasn’t caused any damage” and that “it hasn’t been as dramatic as some have written”.
