'Conspiracy' to malign Delhi govt: AAP on chargesheet against Kejriwal, leaders

The court has summoned the Delhi CM, his deputy, and 11 AAP MLAs as accused in the Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash assault case.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal took application on record and sought response from Delhi police on it by August 25.

The alleged assault on the chief secretary had triggered a bitter tussle between the Delhi government and its bureaucrats.

Anshu Prakash and other senior IAS officers had recently decided to attend cabinet meetings to ensure that people's works are not affected.

Addressing an IAS Joint Forum, Pooja Joshi stated that they would continue with the protest sporting black bands protesting the same.

Delhi police said the CCTV footage was sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory for further examination.

A senior government official said that as per a plan, live feed of meetings with audio output will be available on a website.

Kejriwal also approached the Leftenant Governow to ensure the govt's work was not hit due to the bureaucrats boycott.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal told reporters, ‘A lot of policemen are at my house. My home is being searched.’

The chief secretary alleged that the AAP MLAs abused him at Arvind Kejriwal's residence and threatened to file false cases against him.
