Islamabad: Pakistan interior minister Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday said that Pakistan had established a strong force of 10, 000 personnel for protection of Chinese citizens.

He said India which had undue apprehensions over China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and may be involved in the killing of two Chinese men in Karachi.

China, he said, was ramping up investment as part of a $ 54 billion project known as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, upgrading infrastructure, power and transport links between its far-western Xinjiang region and Pakistan’s Gwadar port.
