Saath Nibhana Saathiya’s set is haunted, if we were to take the word of its crew. Paranormal activities it seems, have been giving sleepless nights to the actors and technicians of the show. A source on the condition of anonymity revealed, “Technicians have been witnessing supernatural activities on a regular basis. They along with the actors are scared to work in the wake of these incidents that are beyond anybody’s control. But since it is a daily show, there is no other option but to continue working quietly on the set.”

When contacted, the show’s lead Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi said, “Yes, a lot of technicians are cribbing about seeing something spooky. But I don’t want to comment on it. I believe that there are positive energies along with negative ones. Unless you harm them, they don’t harm you.”

Actor Kunal Singh who plays the character of Shravan in the show was more forthcoming though. “I am scared to shoot on that set because of these incidents. Thankfully all my scenes happen on the other set. Even the thought of going on the supposedly haunted set shakes me up. I really feel bad for the cast and the crew that shoots there,” he said.

Lovely Sasan who plays Paridhi on the show said, “We do pooja everyday on the set to keep the negative energies at bay. It’s quite scary but we all believe that there is someone up there who is more powerful. He will keep us safe.”
