Razer, one of the most prominent names in the world of the gaming industry, has launched a new gaming mouse in India. Called the Razer Basilisk, it seems to have enough substance to keep hardcore gamers happy on a budget of Rs 5,499.

The mouse has a custom, gaming grade 16,000 DPI optical sensor for handling intense gaming responses from the user. It has a sensor responsiveness of up to 450 inches per second / 50 G acceleration. Added to that, the mouse also boasts of Razer’s custom-designed mechanical buttons, with a scroll wheel that offers a customisable tactile feedback.

The mouse also features Razer’s Chroma dynamic multicolour lighting with 16.8 million colours. It also sports eight independently programmable Hyperesponse buttons. It consists of two removable clutches (short/long) buttons and a rubber thumb cap to make the gaming experience easier. The default clutch set allows gamers to temporarily lower their DPI to instantaneously switch between high DPI close-quarters fighting and low DPI precision shooting. The clutch is fully programmable and can be set for push-to-talk, item pick-up, or any other actions.
