Dadar Club ‘Fighters’ will clash with Radio ‘Tigers’ for a place in the semi-finals.

In a pre-quarter-final match, Dadar Club after an initial hiccup, managed to take control of the proceedings and cruised past MIG ‘Monks’ by a 3-1 margin.

Gaurav Jaisinghani with good support from teammate Carl Serrao played influential roles in Dadar Club ‘Fighters’ success and confirm their passage into the quarter-final round of the Otters Club BSAM Mumbai Z3-Snooker League. In a pre-quarter-final match, Dadar Club after an initial hiccup, managed to take control of the proceedings and cruised past MIG ‘Monks’ by a 3-1 margin.

The MIG Club team gained the early advantage when Prabdeep Singh (+40 handicap) managed to prevail over Luv Boricha (+40) by a slender 92-86 scoring the 15-red singles first frame.

In the second frame, a 9-red doubles tie, Jaisinghani in the company of Pankaj Vanjari (21 team handicap), made some bold long attempts and compiled a steady break of 29 as the Dadar Club team tamed the MIG doubles pair of Gaurav Prabhu and Nakul Parkar (+23) 69-28 to level the scores at 1-all. Later, Serrao (+45) maintained Dadar Club’s winning momentum as he with some tactical play pulled off a close 110-97 win against Anuj Soni (+55) in the 15-red singles, third frame and turned the tide in his team’s favour.

Jaisinghani (+20) closed out the contest with another superb effort as he mixed aggression with caution to comfortably defeated Prabdeep Singh (+40) 100-63 in the fourth frame. Dadar Club ‘Fighters’ will clash with Radio ‘Tigers’ for a place in the semi-finals.
