Preliminary probe reveals that the deceased woman was allegedly in love with a female nurse. They had fallen in love and soon their relationship had become open in the hospital following which the friendship broke after a quarrel. The deceased was in depression and was unable to take the humiliation.

The police said that the two women were working in the therapy section. They met at the hospital and during their work had fallen in love. When the hospital management learnt about their alleged relationship, they informed their parents back home. However, the duo continued with their love affair. Until recently, the duo had a quarrel which resulted in them moving away from each other and even stopped talking.

According to a source, the hospital superintendent even called the two friends to amicably resolve their differences and head back to work. However, the two continued to remain hostile.
