Delhi Police dog squad to get 100 new members

A new kennel was on Tuesday inaugurated at Pushp Vihar by Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik.

New Delhi: Delhi Police will add 100 more dogs to its dog squad. A proposal in this regard has been sent to the authorities concerned.

At present, Delhi Police has 70 dogs at nine locations.

A new kennel was on Tuesday inaugurated at Pushp Vihar by Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik.

He also inaugurated the newly constructed building of Crime Branch police station on the Mehrauli-Badarpur road.
