Before that, on Saturday, when the canvassing for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha polls comes to a close, Mr Modi will address three election rallies in neighbouring Odisha.

According to sources, in West Bengal, the Prime Minister will address rallies in Barrackpore in the North 24 Parganas, Panchla in Howrah, Chinsurah and Pursura in Hooghly on Sunday.

During his last visit to West Bengal on May 3, the Prime Minister held public meetings in Bardhaman, Krishnanagar and Bolpur. He also held an impromptu roadshow in Krishnanagar. Sources said that Mr Modi is also likely to hold a roadshow during his Sunday visit to the Opposition-ruled state.
