Yash Raj Films’ find Bhumi Pednekar has come a long way since making her debut in the film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Her portrayal of a maid in a chapter of the recently-released Lust Stories directed by Zoya Akhtar is receiving rave reviews.

Among those impressed by Bhumi’s stunning performance is master-director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. So much so that he has reportedly decided to cast her in a key role in one of his forthcoming films.

“He hasn’t decided if she will be in his next directorial venture, or in one of the films that he is producing. But Bhumi is definitely an actress that Mr Bhansali would like to work with,” a source close to the filmmaker reveals.
