Huawei India addresses Google’s Android ban

Huawei states that they will continue to provide security updates and after-sales services to all existing Huawei and Honor customers.

After Huawei and sub-brand Honor were rocked by the Google Android announcement, Huawei has just issued a statement regarding the same.

Huawei India in a detailed post states that the brand has made substantial contributions to the development of Android globally and as one of the operating system’s key global partners, they have worked closely with the open-source platform to develop an ecosystem that has not just benefitted the users but also the industry.

Huawei goes on to state that will continue to provide security updates and after sales services to existing Huawei and Honor smartphone and tablet products covering those which have been sold or still in stock across the world.

They end by stating that they will continue to build a safe and sustainable software ecosystem, in order to provide the optimum experience to all users globally.
