Data has revealed that the iPhone 11 has a mere 4GB of RAM but still manages to crush its Android rivals.

The iPhone 11 Pro has produced mind-bending benchmark scores.
The iPhone 11 Pro has produced mind-bending benchmark scores.

The iPhone 11 series of handsets will be launching today in certain markets after leaks that began surfacing close to a year ago. When these handsets start hitting shelves and in the hands of consumers, three things are surely what people will speak about. The first is that there will be a lot of online chatter about how ugly the square camera bump is and how Apple should have stuck with the traditional vertically stacked layout that’s been present on previous-generation iPhone X and iPhone XS devices.

The second will be praise surrounding the handset’s camera capabilities and that the new Night mode performs way better than previously thought possible. In the initial reviews, Apple’s new Night mode has been praised extensively and it has to be seen to be believed.

The third thing people will speak about is the insane battery life found on the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. Apple claims that the iPhone 11 Pro will get four hours more battery in comparison with the iPhone XS while the iPhone 11 Pro Max will offer five hours more battery when compared with the iPhone XS Max. All in all, these handsets will come with some worthwhile upgrades.

However, there is one feature which Apple hasn’t highlighted and this is the determining factor which helps the iPhone 11 Pro absolutely destroy the Android competition.

At the Apple event, Apple highlights a host of features but as they do every year, some important features are intentionally left out and these include the clock speeds on the processors, battery capacities and how much RAM is fitted in the iPhones. The last two features are gathering interest and they were made public on the TENAA website earlier this week. The body is similar to the FCC and it is a Chinese regulatory agency.  And with the devices listed on TENAA, we get to know a few more features of the iPhone 11 lineup.

The iPhone 11 comes with a 3110mAh battery and 4GB of RAM, the iPhone 11 Pro features a 3046mAh battery and 4GB RAM while the larger iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with a 3969mAh battery and 4GB of RAM.

TO put this into perspective, the iPhone XR came with 2942Mah battery while the iPhone XS had 2658mAh battery and the iPhone XS Max featured 3174Mah battery. As far as RAM goes, nothing much is changed with only the iPhone 11 getting a bump up to 4GB from 3GB on its predecessor, the iPhone XR.

What’s an interesting fact is that even though the new handsets have been fitted without loads of RAM like that seen on its Android rivals; it still manages to blast through performance tests. In the single-core test, the iPhone 11 Pro scored a massive 5472 points while the multi-core test produced a score of 13769 points.

As per a related report by BGR, “For comparison, let’s look at top Android flagship phones from 2019. The OnePlus 7 Pro and the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ are widely regarded as the most powerful Android phones out there. They both feature cutting-edge specs that include a whopping 12GB of RAM, which is a whopping three times as much RAM as you’ll find in the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max. Yet both of those Android flagships only manage single-core scores in the 3,000-range and multi-core scores in the low 11,000-range on Geekbench. Long story short, what Apple has achieved is once again this year with the iPhone 11 series and A13 Bionic chipset is nothing short of incredible.
