A 15-year-old boy in Malad raped a five-year-old girl on Wednesday evening. The condition of the girl is stable and she is recovering. According to the police officials, the accused is the neighbour of the victim and she often used to visit his house with her mother. The victim was playing outside her house. Suddenly, the accused called her inside his house to play and attempted to rape her.
After the incident, the girl rushed to her house and started crying and complaining about a severe pain in her stomach and private parts to her mother.
The mother asked her a few questions and the girl narrated the whole incident. After this the mother approached the police and filed a complaint. A medical test was conducted on the victim on Thursday. The police has booked the case but as the accused is a minor, they have not arrested him. According to a police official, the accused will be sent to the Dongri children’s remand home. Earlier, on November 18, in Malad a 35-year-old mechanic raped a 3-year-old girl in his neighborhood.
