With the festive season around the corner, the patta parties have started, the sweets are being made and homes are being decked up. But, the biggest question is what to wear? It’s time to stash those sarees and get innovative.

The festive season is all about making fashion statements. A stunning long jacket paired with pants is a classy look for your Diwali party. The festival demands glitter, gold and shine. An embellished dress in deep colours looks great with matching clutches. A splash of Swarovski stones on your net dupatta added to a bright-coloured choli and a raw silk skirt will make you look straight from the ramp.

Who says denim is only meant for casual outings? Studded denims were a huge hit on the runway this season. Gold studded and sequinned denim jacket with a bright coloured Kurti and jewellery is an apt combination for style as well as comfort. Dhoti pants along with  a top and palazzo pants with crop tops are in trend.

When picking an outfit for the festivities, one tends to overlook ways to style it differently. Pairing the skirt with a crop top, denim with the Kurti or a dress with a scarf can make your outfit look new every time. Festive outfits are about looking and feeling good too. Also, another key factor is fashion sustainability.  Reuse, reinvent and recycle is the key here. Adding a dash of sparkle with rhinestones, sequinned patches, mirror work and techniques like this can make your outfit completely new and not be heavy on your pocket. So go ahead and shine this festive season.
