For a city to keep developing and grow par excellence alongside keeping up with the ideas of blooming as a place worth living, it requires a leader who is ready to take charge of all the processes and policies for the refurnishing to happen. Considering the same, P. Ashish Sharma, the honorable Chairman of Muncipal Council, Hathras lit up the torch to tread the path of development for the small town of Hathras in Uttar Pradesh

A town standing in history for centuries, Hathras was considered to be very beautiful and advanced according to its time. This ancient town has been always equipped with all the prerequisites of healthy living but since the past thirty years or so, it has seen a sudden downfall in both its conservation and development altogether. Therefore, P. Ashish Sharma made it his mission to revamp his beloved town and make it a place that it was known for years ago.

Having started the work about three years ago, Hathras is already witnessing a lot of changes being made to its overall construction and infrastructure. They have started to work on the broken and ill-made roads, historically rebuilding all the crossroads from Bhagat Singh Chauraha, Shri KrishnChauraha to Gandhi Park, making sure they stand the test of time this time. Bringing greenery to town and building community centers for the needy is another perspective they have been focusing on.

With everything in place, the town’s leading parties are looking forward to a prosperous town. For the people of the Hathras, all essential living commodities, from clean water to food, hygiene will be maintained and provided for. The 200-years-old Ghantaghar that stands in the middle of the town with its historic relevance will also be given a new look which would then be etched in the eyes of the people for another 200 years intact. The authenticity of the town, its 10000 sq ft pond, is also being worked upon and is being converted to a lush green picnic center for people to have a good leisure time at.

As one can catch, a plethora of projects has been taken up to revamp the town. For the same, P. Ashish Sharma has adopted a variety of policies to ensure the smooth running of all these projects. He has initiated a new endeavor to maintain hygiene and cleanliness under which all the cleanliness aspects are taken care of at night, making it easy to clean and sanitize the spaces. The community center being developed will provide to-be a free-of-cost space for all the underprivileged to host their functions or gatherings with all other necessities taken care of. They are also keeping a mindful eye to remodel the drainage system of the town under which all the drain water will be taken out and released out of the town.

With an aim to fortify Hathras’s presence in the state of Uttar Pradesh, P. Ashish Sharma has put in all his resources to ensure that his town develops and be considered as one of the fastest growing towns in the country. It is because of this man’s tireless efforts that Hathras also won an award for its hygiene and cleanliness in Bangalore. It could be stated without a doubt that with P. Ashish Sharma’s approach, Hathras will turn out to be the beautiful town it once was.
