Alia-Ranbir’s wedding rumours fake

Tuesday began on a rather shocking and surprising note, with social media buzzing with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding invitation. While the widely circulated invitation on Whatsapp and Twitter has left fans disappointed, Alia had a hearty laugh when asked at an event about the wedding.

To shut the rumourmongers and bring some relief to the fans — the invitation is fake and there is no wedding in January. First things first, Alia’s name is misspelled as Aliya. Secondly, she is veteran director Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter, and Mukesh Bhatt is Alia’s uncle. Well, whoever did this editing job clearly isn’t a Bollywood savvy, or maybe it was just a silly prank.
