Vicky Kaushal’s busy schedule

The young guns of Bollywood are busy and how. While on one hand, there are actors like Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao, having their date diaries full after entering the Rs 100 crore club, the Uri actor Vicky Kaushal has one of the busiest date diaries in the film industry today. “The Shoojit Sircar directorial — Sardar Udham Singh biopic — will be underway soon. Shoojit is also shooting for his film Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann this year and hence Vicky has to take out time from his already busy date diary to ensure that the dates match. Matching dates is not easy because Vicky has to wrap his horror film for producer Karan Johar and then he has to film for Karan’s directorial venture Takht. In between that, he has signed on Aditya Dhar’s Ashwathama for Ronnie Screwvala and has to film that too,” informs a trade source.

As a result, the shoot of Sardar Udham Singh will span over a year and Vicky has to come into shape for the character every time he films for Sardar Udham Singh in the midst of his schedule. It can be recalled that the first look of Sardar Udham Singh was shot in Russia where Shoojit’s team went for their recce.
