Unwinding by the sea

Through the last eight lockdown months, like everyone else, our B-town stars were homebound.

However, with the phase-wise unlock beginning in the country the actors have begun flying down to Maldives to unwind. The water destination has apparently become their first choice not only because that’s the closest to the country but also because, unlike other foreign destinations, Maldives tourism has started flights to and from across the world.

While Taapsee Pannu was the first one to head to Maldives for a vacation with her sister before starting her shoot for Rashmi Rocket, Neha Dhupia headed to the destination with husband Angad Bedi and daughter Mehr. Then, post her wedding, actress Kajal Agarwal chose Maldives as her honeymoon destination while sharing a host of pictures of her vacation at one of the beaches resorts there. Soon Mouni Roy shared pictures of spending time at a resort in Maldives.

While Tiger Shroff with Disha Patani and Farhan Akhtar with Shibani Dandekar are also spending time in the land of the sun and sand, we hear the newbie Tara Sutaria and her beau Aadar Jain have also been spending quality time in the island nation.

Tara apparently timed her trip to celebrate her birthday on November 19. Rakul Preet Singh, we see, has also uploaded a picture of her quick vacation in Maldives with her brother Amanpreet Singh. Clearly, London and Europe has taken a backseat to the pleasures that Maldives seems to be bringing our tinsel town couples.
