An unidentified man allegedly tried to click photograph of a girl in the bathroom of chemistry department of Delhi University. The incident was reported on Thursday at around 12.30 pm. A police source said that a student went to the bathroom of the chemistry department. “She shouted when she saw a hand holding a camera and trying to click her. She raised an alarm following which girls gathered,” said a police source. The police source said that the bathroom has a window that leads to a pipe. Few students claimed to see a youth running away but he was not been identified. A senior police official said that an FIR under Section 354C of the Indian Penal Code has been lodged against unknown persons at the Maurice Nagar police station. The official said they were looking into the matter.
