The Snapdragon 670 will be replacing the SD 660 as company’s most dominant mid-tier processor. It will move to a 10nm manufacturing process from 660’s 14nm process. It will have an octa core design with four Kryo 360 cores clocked at 2 GHz and four Kryo 385 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz.. The CPU will be paired by an Adreno 620 GPU.

There isn’t much information about the new processor available right now, but few online reports claim that it will be manufactured using the 10nm Low Power Early (LPE) FinFET process. Other features will include a combination of Cortex A75 cores, Adreno 630 graphics and X20 LTE modem.

The report also claims that the chip will come with an octa-core Kryo CPU comprising of two Kryo 360 cores. The alleged chip is rumoured to use DynamIQ technology packing a Cortex A75 and Cortex A55. The GPU is also said to jump to 6-series from the recent 5-series.
