Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 to hit India in August

After Nokia’s launch of Nokia 9 PureView in India, the Finnish mobile maker is set to launch 2 new mid-range devices, namely the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2. As per surfacing reports, both devices could hit Indian markets in the month of August.

The reports suggest that HMD Global has already certified Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 devices in India and Russia. Nokiapoweruser says that the Nokia 6.2 is likely going to be a rebranded version of the Nokia X71 launched in China.

Now as per rumours, the Nokia 6.2 will have a glass body with a tear-drop notch screen in front just as the X71 in China. Possibly, to ship in two variants of 4GB/64GB and a 6GB/128GB combined with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The 6.2 can draw comparisons from the X71 in China as it’s supposed to be a rebranded version of it.

However, the Nokia 7.2 may come with a display size of 6.2-inch with Full HD+ resolution and 19:9 ratios. Nokia 7.2 will pack a 48 MP camera on the back. It will be available in 4GB/6GB RAM variants and may be powered by Snapdragon 660/710 processor.

On software fronts, both the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 phones will come with Android 9.0 out-of-the-box and will be part of the Android One program.
