E-commerce giant Amazon has recently opened a 9.5 acre campus in Gachbowli, Hyderabad. The area will be able to house about 15,000 employees, which is a large portion of the 62,000 Amazon employees in the country.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali and IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan inaugurated the 1.8 million sq ft space.

The campus took three years to build and is Amazon’s first owned office outside the US, and is their single largest building in the world.
