The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief called on governor Keshari Nath Tripathi

New Commander-in-Chief of the Eastern Naval Command Vice-Admiral Atul Kumar Jain has reviewed the combat preparedness of the coastal security and various infrastructure projects of the Indian Navy in West Bengal during his maiden visit for two days to the city. Accompanied by his wife Devina Jain, he arrived at the Naval Station Kolkata on Sunday.

The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief called on governor Keshari Nath Tripathi at Raj Bhavan, Eastern Command General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Lt. Gen. Manoj Mukund Naravane at Fort William and state chief secretary Malay De at Nabanna.

The Navy stated, “During the visit, the Admiral reviewed the combat preparedness with regard to coastal security and various infrastructure projects in various stages of construction at the naval units under Naval Officer-in-Charge, West Bengal Commodore Suprobho K De. Subsequently, he interacted with officers, men and defence civilians of Naval Station Kolkata.”
