The earth is suffering and youngsters have had it with the silence of ignorance towards the planet. So, when 16-year-old Swedish activist Greta Thunberg called for a worldwide climate strike wherein school students and other people were encouraged to hit the streets in a form of mass protest, everyone was on board. From DC to Delhi, the crowd calls of frantic protest were held loud and clear. On Friday, the city witnessed hundreds of protestors enthusiastically ditching schools and work to join the strike in front of the Ministry of Environment office. Daring the scorching September sun, Delhiites united to demand Government action.
