Rashmi Trivedi

Everyone dreams in their life but there are a few who make their dreams come true.

We are talking about chief manager in Indian Oil Corporation and national bestseller book author Rashmi Trivedi.

Author of bestseller book of 2016, ‘Women, Everything will be fine!’ and ‘From Ashes to Dreams’, Rashmi has won people’s heart through her mesmerising poetries.  Her work, “Handful of Sunshine, Pocketful of Rain” has been appreciated by the readers, winning her many fans.

Rashmi is an author, an explorer and a working mother. Wife of a business man and mother of two children, it is her work life that has led her to delve into writing.

Working at the middle management level, she has experience in working with various departments like operations, sales and training. In 2013 she was transferred to Bhopal where she stayed for three years. Her family stayed back in Delhi. It was during this period she started writing poems and articles and shared them with family and friends.

She soon started writing for her own page and blog. As always, one thing leads to another and she got the idea of writing “Women, Everything will be fine!” which later became national bookseller.

Since childhood, she has been passionate about reading. Unlike many who read when they find time, she always took out time for reading. And that helped her inculcate her writing skills.

She faced many hurdles in the process, but that hardly affected her to pursue her passion.

Doing her schooling in St Xavier's, Haldia and graduation from Cotton College, Guwahati this MBA in marketing feels life has been the biggest teacher and she loves being a student.

“Life is the biggest Teacher! We learn from ups and downs in our lives,” she says, adding, “We should not fear the situations, which life throws at us. Rather we should fight them bravely.”

Recently, Subroto International School selected her lyrics for their theme song for esteemed Football Cup and felicitated her with a lovely memoir during the closing ceremony.  An author’s life story is also based on the situation she has overcome with all the odds that life throws at her. She loves to travel and reading is her passion. What exceeds her passion for reading is her passion for life. She looks at life with the eyes of a child, where everything is wonderful.
