A party without balloons is not a party, it’s just a gathering. These inflated goodies instantly liven up a place. From birthdays to anniversaries to fairs, they’re loved by kids and adults alike. Here are 4 surprising uses of balloons:

Spying

Draw some inspiration from the Cold War days, when balloons were used for propaganda. Also, hot air balloons were used in Civil War for espionage, when they would be tethered to the ground and people would note down all that they could see. You can go ahead with positive messages for the world and spread some love!

Heart surgeries

Don’t freak out, but balloons in arteries are a real thing. The medical term for the surgery is Plain Old Balloon Angioplasty (POBA). They’re used because of their ability to expand whenever required. So heart surgeons use it to widen arteries that are narrow.

Dessert presentation

You can make interesting chocolate cups or dessert holders using balloons. All you have to do is, blow a balloon and spray non-stick cooking spray, or butter. Then dip the top of balloon in melted chocolate, place it on a baking sheet and freeze it. Let it stay for about 30 minutes, and then pop the balloon. Your fancy dessert element is ready!

Contemporary art

This one’s fun because you can become an artist if you’re bored! All you have to do is take a white canvas, and fill balloons with different colours, and let your wilder side run (or splash). You can throw these on the sheet and create a riot of colours. If it turns out to be “aesthetic”, frame it and use it as a wall décor! Or, you can even tie these up on a black hair band to funk it up.
