Following his successful box-office success in Malang, actor Aditya Roy Kapur pulled off his first comic act in Anurag Basu’s latest offering, the dark comedy, Ludo. The actor, who completed 11 years in the industry, played the role of Akash Chauhan in the film.

His Amitabh Bachchan impersonation in the Abhishek-Bachchan co-starrer also came in for a lot of praise.

Humbled with all the love for this brand new avatar, Aditya says, “It’s really heart-warming, and I am really thankful to everyone for giving Ludo and my character so much love and appreciation. It’s nice to see your hard work being appreciated and I hope to continue doing so with my next film as well.”

Being hailed by audiences for his diverse roles, Aditya has been having a good year. “Bringing to the audience different genres is really fulfilling and exciting as an actor and it’s been a good year, given the kind of responses Malang and Ludo have received.”

Aditya will be next seen in Om – The Battle Within, an action entertainer helmed by Kapil Verma, in which Aditya gears up for some fiery stunts. Incidentally, the actor dropped out of Mohit Suri’s Do Villains though he hasn’t said a word on that yet.
