Hike partners with Intex, Karbonn to make cheaper Android phones

The company has partnered with Intex and Karbonn to launch these Android powered smartphones in India.

The device is priced at Rs 6,490 and will be available in Black and Champagne colour options.

The 4G smartphone is bundled with a monthly pack of Rs 169 from Airtel, which offers data and calling benefits.

Airtel said the partnership with Karbonn is the first of several partnerships that it plans to have with mobile handset manufacturers.

Bharti Airtel is launching Rs 1,300 smartphone aimed at taking on Reliance Jio ahead of Diwali.

Priced at Rs 5,290 the device will be available in two colours — Black and Champagne with a metallic Black panel.

The device is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat and is 4G VoLTE enabled sporting a screen size of 6-inch HD IPS full lamination display.

The new Aura 4G is packed with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MPfront camera and a 2150 mAh battery.
