Supreme Court declines plea allowing live streaming of Ayodhya case

The court, while refusing to accord urgent hearing, said it would require institutional decision and deliberation on the matter.

The statue will be taller than the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's Statue of Unity in Gujarat. It would be the world's tallest statue.

The matter will be heard by a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi.

Upon reopening on July 1 after six-week summer vacation, Supreme Court will deal with very sensitive issues, including Ayodhya, Rafale case.

Ayodhya Shodh Sansthan, a research body under the UP Department of Culture, believes the murals represent the image of Lord Ram.

Due to security reasons, the verdict was announced in Naini Central Jail, where all the accused are imprisoned.

Special judge Dinesh Chandra is hearing the case. The attack took place on July 5, 2005.

According to reports, the security has also been heightened keeping in mind the hearing on 2005 Ram Janmabhoomi attack on June 18.
