Police have launched a hunt for the suspect, who they described as a man in his 40s.

Berlin: A man stabbed several people with a knife in the German city of Munich on Saturday, police said on Twitter.

Authorities said several people were hurt but no one sustained life-threatening injuries. Police have launched a hunt for the suspect, who they described as a man in his 40s. They said he fled the scene on a black bicycle.

Police also urged people in the city to remain at home and said the attacker’s motive as unclear.
