Islamabad: Brother of Ghulam Qadir Mari, a close aide of former Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, on Monday moved the Sindh High Court (SHC) after his brother went missing.

Ismail Mari pleaded with the Sindh High Court to issue an order to recover his missing brother.

He said, “My brother and his servants have been abducted while they were on their way back from the event marking the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.”

The petitioner also appealed to the Sindh High Court to direct the authorities concerned to unveil the whereabouts of Ghulam Qadir Mari and Ashfaq Leghari.

Mr Zardari’s three close aides — Ghulam Qadir Mari, Nawab Leghari and Ashfaq Leghari — have all gone missing from different locations in Pakistan within a span of four days.
