Pria Kataria Puri to chat up Bollywood stars on television

Fashion designer Pria Kataria Puri is making her television debut with a show titled Born Stylish on Colors Infinity. It will have Pria in conversation with style icons from the film and fashion industry. Pria says, “At first, I was not very sure about this. Being a chat show, the host requires a certain set of skills, like you need to be spontaneous and so on. But the show is fashion oriented, so they were looking for someone who is clued into trends. The show aims at giving viewers a clear understanding of what makes a trendsetter. Every episode will feature a chat with a world renowned designer and a Bollywood celebrity.”

The episodes have been planned such that each one has a theme that matches with the star that is being featured. “For us the alpha male had to be Akshay Kumar. He has that allure without trying too hard. He is athletic, someone who is not too much into fashion but is stylish at the same time,” Pria says. On the show Akshay spoke about how he changed his style after marrying Twinkle Khanna, and his preference of natural products — he applies egg on his hair instead of gel. “In the coming episodes we’ll be featuring Fawad Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and many more style icons from the industry,” Pria adds.
